Chapter 7 Demon Venom

Wang Jian and Fan Gen communicated secretly using a Voice Communication Talisman.

Fan Gen informed Wang Jian of Lin Feng's location right after Lin Feng exits the Crimson Mammoth Warriors tribe.

This implied that Wang Jian knew of his path and had prepared a trap.

Lin Feng instantly suspected the Crimson Mammoth Warriors. Only they knew this location precisely and leak it. He was sure that the majority of warriors in this tribe were innocent as he was engaged to Kang Huian. The leader of the Crimson Mammoth Warriors wouldn't wish for his daughter's death.

"This must be the act of an individual holding rebellious intentions in the Crimson Mammoth Warriors Tribe," Lin Feng came to this conclusion rather quickly.

While the two were hiding, they headed towards the Miracle Angel Tribe.

The Miracle Angel Tribe possessed precious herbs that could heal Kang Huian quickly.

"Devil? Is this poison demonic?" Lin Feng asked. He further added with a hopeful look, "If this is a demonic poison, Holy Qi should treat her."

With a wry look, Han Lei spoke, "No. A Devil Venom is far more terrifying. Not even our Holy Qi can purge it. A Devil Venom is created through a High-Ranking Devil's Blood and a couple of herbs. The only known method of dealing with the Devil Venom is to cut off the infected part."

"What?!" Lin Feng was astonished to hear the treatment.

"Yes The Devil Venom has already spread through Miss Kang's body. It's impossible to treat her through known means."

"What will happen to her now?" Lin Feng questioned grimly.

"The Devil Venom is devouring her life force and growing stronger. After it grows to a certain level, Miss Kang's body will explode and spread the Devil Venom to this entire region," Han Lei calmly explained.

Lin Feng felt his entire world shatter upon hearing those words.

"N-No way!"

"I am afraid this is the truth, Holy Son. To prevent a future disaster, we must kill her immediately," Han Lei grimly asserted.

"Nobody touches her!" Lin Feng roared. His aura flared in response and forced everyone back by two steps.

"Holy SonI understand your feeling. In fact, I even admire you a bit. But you must be practical. She can't be saved and is a walking disaster for everyone around her," Han Lei steadily elucidated.

"I don't care. I will definitely heal her!" Lin Feng gave a swift response. He picked up Kang Huian's body and walked out of the Miracle Angel Tribe's hideout.

He couldn't trust the Miracle Angel Tribe with Kang Huian's life.

However, Han Lei and his comrades suddenly arrived to stop Lin Feng. They didn't come alone; Han Xifeng accompanied them as well.

"Stop, Holy Son! Don't accompany that woman anymore. You will die," Han Lei shouted.

"That's right, husband. Please stop. I don't want you to risk your life," Han Xifeng spoke aloud.

Lin Feng gritted in frustration as he heard those words.

"What are you saying, Xifeng?! You should know how I feel about Huian. About all of you. How can I just let Huian die to this poison?! I will not give up! I will definitely find a cure!" Lin Feng spoke resolutely.

"II just don't want anything to happen to you, Brother Feng," Han Xifeng responded while tears leaked from her eyes.

Lin Feng's heart softened upon seeing her cry. He knew that she was only worried about him.

To relieve her, Lin Feng donned a smile and promised, "I will definitely be okay. For now, I need to conduct some research on dealing with this poison. Please wait for me, Xifeng."

Upon noticing that even his daughter couldn't convince Lin Feng, Han Lei shouted, "Holy Son. This is still too risky. Let her remain in our tribe. We can use a combination of herbs to delay the inevitable."

Lin Feng sneered in response and went on his way, "You will need to use force to stop me. But the question isDo you dare?!"

Lin Feng dragged Kang Huian away, leaving the Miracle Angel Tribe stunned at his declaration.

He was their young lord in a sense. How can they attack him?!
