Wang Jian paused and turned back to face his younger brother. "Yes, I came alone. I don't need guards to protect me. I can handle myself just fine," he replied confidently.

Wang Lan raised an eyebrow, clearly skeptical. "I see. Well, if you need any assistance while you're here, don't hesitate to let me know," he said, a hint of insincerity in his tone.

And with that, he turned and walked away.
